Riverside Park’s as far West as you can go in NYC and much less packed a couple of weeks ago than Central Park (also people were much more likely to be wearing masks and making it clear that they were keeping their distance).

This is very pretty. So my dilemma: there is no one here but both people are wearing masks. In your other photos, the streets are packed and hardly anyone is wearing a mask. What the hell, people??!!
After this walk I joked to my wife that masklessness must be an Eastside problem since on the West side everyone appeared to be taking the rules seriously while in Central Park half the people were feckless – they must be the East side contingent.
