I had just commented to my wife, on our walk a couple of weeks ago, how it seemed most people were now wearing masks and the need to do so seemed finally to have permeated the consciousness of most New Yorkers when we passed this corner and I had to take it back.

I just don’t get the whole ‘neck’ thing. They put the mask there….in case they need it? What the heck is the point?
I’ve noticed more wearing them too, and then, like you, I am always amazed by those who don’t
