I keep reminding myself that all the evidence suggests no one has caught the virus outside unless they were in long and protracted conversation with a carrier unmasked; and that shaming isn’t an appropriate response. OTOH, it strikes me that it’s a part of our social contract to signal to each other that we’re aware we’re in a pandemic and will each take the appropriate measures to keep one another safe. This just feels rude and un-civic-minded to me.

He has deep thoughts to work on, and needs all the oxygen his brain can get, but he’ll still be a sad excuse at the end of the day.
