Once you get used to reading on a tablet, it’s a little hard to go back. I’m so used to clicking on a word I’m not familiar with, or a foreign phrase, and getting an instant answer, or clicking on a location and opening a map, that reading an actual book seems harder. Also, of course, with 4 walls in our apartment already lined with books, it’s kind of nice to stop accumulating them while still reading tons of library books on Libby on my iPad… but I understand the sentiment if not the bare toes.
You make a good argument about the tablet. And I say I prefer books having never even read a book on a tablet, so… I have friends who would agree with you, wholeheartedly, though.
