Look at that little fluff! I have to laugh at this dog walking, because my neighbor took that literally. She walked to the end of her driveway with the little darling on a retractable leash. She let the dog run out the entire length of the leash to do its thing. She retracted the leash and inside they went. Dog walked. She stood.
Not being a dog “owner” myself, I’m a tad hesitant to venture more than the observation that a remarkably high percentage of people now carry, rather than walk their dogs. No doubt some dogs are old and infirm, and some owners like to feel their “babies” close to them. But I do wonder if some dogs wouldn’t be better off health-wise, actually getting to walk.
