Museums

People and museums have long held a fascination for me. From the architectural possibilities of Meier’s Getty Center and IM Pei’s Louvre update to the small still life opportunities found in quiet corners one often finds something interesting.
Today’s tendency to take selfies with the art rather than actually looking at it contrasts with the encouraged interactions with more recent work.
And, of course, there’s the never-ending opportunity to use the artwork as background to the people, casting the completed works as blank canvases upon which the observers become the true subjects.
