Personal Note
Some of my neighbors prevailed on me to hang some of my photographs in our hallway. They mostly chose pictures from my show, The Nature of Cities, about 4 years ago now, featuring trees and other natural elements against urban settings like brick walls. I have to say, it’s kind of nice to step out of the apartment and see a gallery of my work.

Just discovered, quite by accident, that a few of the top menu choices had disappeared from the blog; notably the “Buy Prints” choice – could this explain why my print site hasn’t had any traffic from obBLOGato lately?
Anyway, it’s been repaired now so you can browse by photo category right from the top menu and visit my commercial site to order prints and a range of other goods with my pictures on them.

So, kinda by accident, I changed the blog’s theme. When I realized what I’d done I tried to track back but couldn’t find the theme I had been using so I had to find something new I liked.
As many great themes as are available for free here at WordPress I’ve never found the perfect one for me that provides a nice, uncluttered, clean palette to showcase the photos while still allowing for some accompanying but non-distracting capabilities like comments, sharing, likes, etc.
So welcome to the new look. I hope you like it.

It felt like Saturday to me all day yesterday. Didn’t realize till almost bedtime it was really Sunday and back to work today. So no new pictures this morning or afternoon. Back tonight.

Been busy lately – not out with camera in hand and leaving for a week’s shore vacation in the morning. We’ll be back with more as soon as possible.

Busy this weekend with soccer (football) tournaments and such (my daughter’s team of 14-year olds came first with no losses, scoring about 18 goals and conceding only 4 and she scored one of them in a brief sojourn to midfield from her usual center-back position). Hope to get some pictures into Lightroom and posted after work today.
