I don’t generally like to take flower pictures but when Spring has sprung In New York and the tulips and cherry blossoms are in full bloom it’s impossible to resist – so I’m trying to get a bunch of these out of the way all at once. Here is a selection from Carl Schurz Park (surrounding Gracie Mansion on the East Side) and the Broadway medians).








Well us Dutch kids always get a little bit nutty around Tulips. Back here ’cause of the early spring all we have is stems!
Yes, we had a similar phenomenon. A mild Winter, an early Spring followed by a return to chilly wet weather, stunting our Spring growth. Lovely while it lasts. And we’ll never be as famous as the Dutch for our tulips.
