  1. We were mesmerized by these jellyfish on our trip to the Georgia Aquarium. You captured them beautifully. Glad I could “revisit” them here today. My photos didn’t turn out quite as nice ; )

      Part of the trick is not to use flash and to hold the lens flush against the tank to avoid reflections off the glass (or get an angle that minimizes glare). You also need to find a combination of ISO and shutter speed that works: the ISO can’t be higher than your camera will handle without too much noise and the shutter speed has to be high enough to mostly stop action so you don’t get too much camera shake blur but low enough to work with your ISO and perhaps a tiny amount of motion blur in parts of the jellyfish to convey their undulating movements.
