I don’t see why it would be. The object itself isn’t holy, doesn’t carry the name of God. And the whole holiday of Chanuka is an “historical” celebration rather than a religious holiday. (American commercialism has turned it into “the Jewish Christmas,” but it was never that really – just listen to Adam Sandler.)
