Got back a few days a go from a marvelous family adventure in Costa Rica – not the kind of trip we’ve ever done before. Over the next few days I’ll be posting some of the most blog-worthy (I hope) images. Some may be little more than postcard-quality pretty pictures but perhaps they’ll give some idea of the marvelous country.

near La Fortuna, Costa Rica
I have always wanted to go there, but might be a bit too much sun for me.
Definitely very sunny and very near the Equator so even when you’re in the mountains where it’s cooler you’re getting the full dose of sunlight and UV. I’m pretty fair myself *extremely white, freckled and formerly red-headed) so I lathered up with #50 sunscreen daily. But a fantastic place to visit!
