Between gigs for a little while and we decided to go visit Niagara Falls for a few days – my wife had never been. The first day we drove out to the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, under 25 km from Niagara Falls. A charming, colonial-era town with interesting history, particularly from the War of 1812, we walked down to the shore of Lake Ontario, a popular spot for family photography, evidently, and saw what follows in some of the next few posts. This is fun! I have a friend who wrote several kids books about his remote control truck, Dodger. They went out west first (Dodger Goes West) and then moved onto other sections of the States. He used photographs just like this guy. I wonder if he was writing a book….
Hmmmn… no idea – I didn’t interrupt or talk to him. One of my sons likes to photograph plastic superhero figures in various tableaux but I have never really thought much about the genre.
