Are cars lined up to take photos? Going by these, you pretty much had the place to yourself.
There are cars parked along the road in the park and people out with their phones taking pictures. This was a little late on a rainy day a couple of days before Christmas. There’s a little parking lot at the trailhead which we were told would often be full but was pretty empty when we got there. Cap Rock was a short little, flat trail (0.3 miles) and we did not run into too many other people on it allowing me to photograph pretty freely without other tourists in the shot.
