I suspect a hawk. Since the pandemic we’ve gained a lot more bird variety in the city than we used to have. It used to be just sparrows and pigeons but now we often see cardinals, bluejays, hawks and a couple of owls. I haven’t heard about any eagles, though.
Right. Unfortunately I snapped the picture a fraction of a second late so they’re not appearing in the open sky but mostly obscured by a branch and leaves.
