Wow. Not at all what I pictured. Truly brick and mortar was what I had in mind. This is interesting.
I remember when the building was new. By Richard Rogers, I believe. It was a sensation, with all of the structural elements on the outside exposed, right in the heart of the City. This is the first time I’d seen it, just happened upon it walking and recognised it. But I wasn’t expecting the tree.
From your photo, it looks like the tree has seen better days.
