This drummer was a regular character, often spotted at Grand Army Plaza at the Southeast corner of Central Park, where this picture was taken. He later appeared in a Woody Allen movie. Another rare example of color from me in the mid-1970s.
Thanks! Alas I cannot take too much credit for the color. I took this picture years ago (early to mid-1970s) with standard Kodacolor processing. When I scanned the negative I found the colors were a bit off and did a little bit of work with the white balance in Lightroom but with only accidental success as regards your kind comments.
Your use of color is very controlled… I like that the purplish blues are complementary to the yellowish greens.
