Yeah – It’s a strange thing. I did the B&W conversion in SilverFX and lightened the boy a bit. When I brought it back into Lightroom there was this terrible halo (obviously I hadn’t sized the local correction properly) but you have no idea how long it takes my PC to open a file from Lightroom into a Nik extension and I was too impatient to wait minutes for it and go back. It’s nice to know I have followers with the critical faculties to pick up that kind of thing!
I don’t want to know how long it takes because I can guess, and waiting for the computer to work is/was never fun at all! I only pointed it out to be constructive because I know to an extend what you’re capable of, and I am glad you take it the way that I’d hope you do, cheers!
I absolutely take it in the spirit in which it was offered – that’s the beauty of this online community – but all the same I have felt the need to correct it! 🙂
