He was telling us that the graveyard was open. I actually have an acquaintance, a local historian, who gives tours of the graveyard – a lot of famous people are buried there.

You can’t see it in the picture, but this was taken in front of the Trinity Church Graveyard on Amsterdam Avenue in Harlem.
