I think it was just one of those odd transitional facial expression moments captured by a camera in 1/320th of a second. It was a very crowded corner with a line of people on the left queuing for brunch and a crowd on the opposite corner milling about a popular coffee bar and the sun was in their eyes. They were trying to figure out how to get where they were going without getting separated, mauled by the crowd or run over by a passing car. Life in the big city…
