  1. Is there a reason why you pleced the two to the left of the frame? It seems to me as if they were interacting with someone further left, outside the frame, which makes it a little odd. And as the background scenery doesn’t add to the story of the photograph, I assume, there could be a reason for your choice.
Apart from that, it’s a really good capture of emotions. 🙂 “As usual”, I’m tempted to say. 🙂

    1. Yes it looks that way and, as a general rule, I would have preferred to have had the subjects in the right hand third of the frame given the way they were oriented. In fact there is nothing to the left and I thought the storefronts fading to horizon line in the background worked better than the automobile traffic. Here’s the original frame, uncropped

      1. Yep, you’re right. The lesser of the two evils 😉 I might have cropped it that the right side of the van would have made the left border, but that would mean to remove the depth of perspective from the photograph (the storefront) and add a lot of sky — which in turn wouldn’t be any better.
Thank you for the explanation! 🙂

        1. Thanks. It’s also worth noting, perhaps, that my 3 daily posts on obBLOGato are work generally done quickly – I usually consider them blog-worthy, a record of my peregrinations, but seldom portfolio-worthy.
