We’re back! Lightroom can see all 57,000 image files. It’s taken days but I’ve restored everything on the old drive to the new one. New images start now.
Thanks! We photographers are like magpies. The 57,000 includes scans of pictures I took going back to the ’70s with my first SLR, with my Kodak Hawkeye as a kid, and scans of my father’s family photographs going back to the ’40s. Also remember, I only post maybe 10% of what I shoot and I retain most of the rubbish shots as well.
That’s because I try not to show those. The real secret of why photographers appear to take better pictures than others: we’re much more disciplined editors of our work.
Glad to have you back Adam.
Thanks – Good to be back!

You’re on your way! I probably started a few decades before you.
I think their expressions match what I was thinking: **gasp** 57,000 images?! Glad you are back.

So hard for me to think you take any rubbish shots!
