The man in the middle is a blind beggar who often works this corner. He was in some kind of argument with the sanitation worker, about what I’m not quite sure as it was in rapid-fire, loud Spanish and I couldn’t follow.

The man in the middle is a blind beggar who often works this corner. He was in some kind of argument with the sanitation worker, about what I’m not quite sure as it was in rapid-fire, loud Spanish and I couldn’t follow.
I can almost get a sense of what the blind beggar is going on about. His body language is quite explicit. However the lady seems to have gotten in on the altercation as well. I notice that her fist is balled up. If I know NYC like I would like to think I know NYC [the people at least], I suspect the sanitation worker has nary a clue or a care. He wants to dump/pickup/and go!
Thanks! If I recall, the sanitation worker was highly amused by the whole thing and was just laughing it all off – but not pleasantly. Of course, this was just a passing impression.
