The girl in the red jacket is very aware of her surroundings.
The other 2 people are kind of like me….looking up and still walking forward.
That’s a good way to walk into a pole or wall, which I have done many times in my life.
It kind of hurts……
🙂 – Another interpretation: the older couple (I’m assuming, her parents) have reached a level of confidence that doesn’t require them to remain quite as alert to imminent threats, like looming photographers. They’re free to wander the streets, aimlessly enjoying the journey while the youngsters remain on the prowl.
