Thanks. That’s where I’m reading this. No spam comments are listed.

Hi Adam – talking about spam, you may not have noticed it but there’s a Russian (?) attack on the likes under the comments… As one of my comments on one of your posts got such a like too, I checked here – and they are all over the place… It has already been reported to support and we are not alone (if that is any comfort…) and I hope they find a solution. The only remedy I could find was turning off the likes… I’ll wait it out a while, I think, before I do that. Akismet does not see these likes, by the way…
Thanks so much for this, Nil. They are not going to spam but lately I have a bunch of ‘…outlook.com’ followers. Another blogger alerted me to the spam folder a few months ago. It gets a good cleaning from me regularly. How does all this happen?
No idea how it could happen… Normally you have to be logged in one way or the other, account or by email, to even click on a like under a comment… So, even if Akismet doesn’t check the likes under the comments, it should detect something, I’d think… outlook.com followers should be ok unless they go ‘sexy’ as well… they probably are pure followers without a WP account… 😉
Anyway, WP is working on it… and it may even be solved as I don’t see any new spam likes here…
Can you see if any of my comments went into your spam folder? I had a couple weeks where random comments went to spam–supposedly all fixed now. Thanks, Adam.
I don’t think so. I don’t have a spam folder, as such. There’s a service called Akismet which diverts spam and counts 43 spams in March but it doesn’t appear to show them to me or allow me to review or retrieve them.
Hover over the like under a comment if it says 1 person (or more) – over the ‘1 person, that is… just try it in this post a bit higher up…
Yeah. I’m also seeing lots of sexy*.ru bloggers liking random comments…
Adam–if you go to your comment section of My Sites, they list spam comments on the top. You can see and delete from there, also.

Hmmmn… Thanks for the heads up. I’m not seeing anything when I look. What should I be looking for?

Thanks, Nil.
Did they say anything to you or just….move on? I think you are so darn brave!
No bravery required… just strangers passing in the night…
