    1. I’ve photographed (and posted) pictures of these trees in front of El Dorado many times before. I was kind of taken aback to see them so ravaged but, knowing nothing of horticulture, I assumed it was for their benefit.

      1. And I probably made the same comment then as now. They can be trimmed back but not to the extent that some people do. You can tell where they were pruned hard but the massive lump on their branches once they bloom. Not pretty at all. End of spiel.
