Near the end of December we visited Winchester Cathedral on a rainy day. Click any of the images to see them full-size.
I did not see any sign of the rain in any of these photos. Was this because: A. The roof of the Temple protected everyone from exposure to the rain. B. Everyone carried a Thomas Brigg & Sons collapsible with braided leather handle in Royal Blue, the ultimate in stylish rain deflection umbrella, and was adequately protected from the wetness of the summer downpour.
Those would be my two guesses, but you decide, as you were the one who was there and was quite dry.
The answer, of course, is A, though B would certainly have worked as well!
