There’s a little arcade that traverses 85th to 86th Street, midway between Lexington and Third Avenues. At some point in my early teens I would stand a little ways in, training my camera on the passersby on 86th Street. When one of them happened to glance in to the arcade I snapped a picture. Here is one such.

Funny! I lived on the East Side for many years (1967-71, ’73-’74 and ’76-’85) and my daughter, who goes to school there, thinks it’s the place to be.
