    1. It was too dark for a shutter speed that would provide a stable, sharp image so I took the shot anyway allowing the camera to choose the widest aperture, the highest auto-sensitivity (1600 ISO) and the highest shutter speed it could manage. Since I was focused on the couple that’s the point where there was the least camera shake on my part and it’s the various lights in the background that show the most motion blurring. Then I played with the resulting “bad” shot in Lightroom, attempting to turn the image’s defects into advantages to create an ethereal effect that you were kind enough to appreciate!
