    1. Nice thought. In fact they were complaining about all the pedestrians who insisted on walking around their stop sign into the traffic on W 57th St as they tried to get to work on time. The building they are putting up is a gigantic luxury residential building, receiving unjustified development tax breaks, that will cast a long shadow over southern Central Park and the apartments will mostly be owned by foreign elites (especially Russian oligarchs) who are sheltering (or laundering) assets, and won’t even live in them, according to recent articles in reputable publications.

Sorry to go all political on you here, but we NYers are an impatient bunch, even when friendly construction workers are just trying to do their jobs while thinking about their upcoming dates! 🙂

      1. This was great. In the USA Today section of our daily newspaper they have articles about this very thing. Having been gone from NJ for so many years, I love keeping up with everything. This is a shame, really. I make up fun stories but hearing the serious side of it is much more interesting. Keep on–it’s good for me to know!
