I wasn’t sure what these were exactly. At first I thought they were to protect newly-planted saplings but they really look more like stakes than saplings. either way, they reminded me of some of Christo’s work, wrapping in unexpected ways and places.

Monet Puddle
After brunch at The Foundry, we drove to a trailhead, then another – they were both packed with people, no parking. Then we found one that seemed not to attract the crowds in Nelsonville. I’ll be posting shots from that hike for the next several days.
