Art is not for climbing
Hayward Gallery, London
After the previous Friday’s visit to the Tate Modern and the Barbican Centre, I returned to London last Friday mainly to see the Sugimoto retrospective at the Hayward Gallery. Before entering, I saw this.
Remember when galleries used to have signs “Do Not Touch” and then “No Photography.” Well, heck, now it’s “No Climbing….
To be fair, this sign was next to a very large bamboo-like construction that I suppose might have been tempting to climb.
