
I was in Brighton with my former classmates and Evoke/Provoke collective members for the private view of Views in Transition, part of the Brighton Photo Fringe. I had about an hour between a truly excellent set of presentations from CRUX: Landscape of Inequality in the afternoon and the beginning of the private view to walk around Brighton for the first time. Brighton looks like a very interesting town. The photos are wonderful.
Thanks. Yes it does look very interesting, very arty and, I was recently confided, very liberal (in the way Americans use it to mean progressive, as opposed to the way Europeans use it, which is a bit more like our libertarian). If we were to come back to Britain it would be on our list of places to consider.
