We went to Rottingdean for their annual village fête on the day of the Pride parade this year, forgetting that there would be lots of road closures, so we wound up walking home to Hove from the Marina. Along the way, we met some of the celebrants who were happy to have their pictures taken.

What a great event and with the construction issues. We had ours a couple of weeks ago and it’s always such a joyful occasion!
Thanks, yes. The road closures weren’t for construction – they were for the Pride Parade itself – lol!😆
ah, that makes sense. we have an inordinate amount of construction here every summer, as they try to get it all done before it gets cold
