Went to See the Henri Cartier-Bresson show at the Rubin Museum: India in Full Frame – very impressive work as usual. then made our way down the central, spiral staircase (last post) to see the other exhibits.
Unmentioned in the aforementioned Chicago law is the pleasure of taking a kaleidoscopic image inside the Bean

Water and de-icer streaming across my airplane window.

From inside the window of the Urgent Care center, looking out.

I saw this through a stairwell window outside the first Paula Cooper Gallery’s Pfeiffer installation.
A few steps down the block from the Pfeiffer installation I saw Ernesto Netos’ installation, The Serpent’s Energy Gave Birth to Humanity.

Across the street from Gagosian, at the Tina Kim Gallery, Park Seo-Bo had a series of interesting Black and White (and Grey) paintings. There were no prices on any of the items or in the catalog. I asked the receptionist if they were prohibitively expensive but she didn’t know. She said she’d have to get in touch with her sales team. I took that as a sign and left

An apartment window on Central Park West. I shot this in auto-aperture mode with my new Fuji 14mm f2.8 lens. It was while shooting it that I noticed the lens was defaulting to f7.1 (and boosting the ISO to compensate). subsequent testing over the next few days revealed this to be a consistent problem with the lens – something ain’t right. It’s on it’s way to Fuji for warranty service.

2 second exposure with the camera resting on a banister.

Used focus-peaking to home in on the rain stains on the bus window for this color palette.

This image sold to a collector of doors at my Jadite Gallery show. It has a little bit of a Leiter-ish feel to me.
