The bus ride back to Denver Airport set off before dawn in a snowstorm. The windows of the bus were covered in a crystalline film of dirt. Shooting at ridiculously high ISO, at a shutter speed of 1/320, I captured the upcoming series of moody, pictorial landscapes. As we progress through them over the next several posts you’ll see the growing light of day.

Well, I’m out of images again and about to travel down South for a few days. So just to keep the pot boiling I’m going way back into the archives for the next few days with some old shots, some on film and others from my earliest digital days. Here’s me chopping cord wood in Colorado circa 1982, with hair.

Taken from the window of the plane, taxiing down the runway.

Another motion-blurred photo, snapped out the window of a fast-moving bus. Here I added some special effects just for fun: played with the colors and the lighting, overlaid some texture and brushed out the border.
