Near the beginning of the pandemic, New Yorkers began making noise at 7:00 pm daily to honor and thank the front-line workers who were saving lives and making living through the pandemic possible. Needless to say, this custom has died down significantly over time. But some remain ardent noise-makers and celebrants.
