Autumn Palisades

New Jersey Palisades across the Hudson River

Took a train trip #3 son to the Walkway over the Hudson yesterday and saw a lot of late Autumn color, coming up over the next week or so of posts.

This was a kind of Surrealist Dalíesque scene. It just needed the clock to drip down the front of the building. Also, a nice lesson in looking for different framing perspectives, given how different it looks from the picture of this same tree in the last post, achieved simply by moving around it a little and looking for other angles.

Went back out to Central Park again last weekend and, lo and behold, there were still some trees with leaves on them. Here’s one I photographed the prior weekend and posted earlier.
