I went to see Michael Kamber’s slideshow and discussion on Photographing the Liberian War at the Bronx Documentary Center a few weeks back. A fascinating discussion from Kamber, who was there and some Liberians in the audience. Afterwards we perused an exhibition with stark and dramatic photographs of the war by the late Chris Hondros and Tim Hetherington, as well.
