Shadow

Given the strong shadow against the building, I thought this might make a good black and white image. But it turns out I prefer the colour version.

River Wey

Took a short walk on an errand to a colleague’s flat through the Gostrey Meadow and happened on this pretty scene.

There will be a fitness center under our flat. Here workmen noisily replace the hoardings with windows (de rigeur for gyms so you can see everyone sweating inside) right below our bedroom windows, early in the morning.

Back in Farnham for the new semester and we took a short walk. I’ll probably revert to a single post per day again, till I get in the swing of things again.

Equally, there’s something about solo trees with no leaves in summer that cries out for portraiture.

There’s something about 2 trees alone in a field that says, “photograph us.”

One of our walks takes us past a horse (and donkey) farm. There were some new residents this time.

Landscape

One of the loveliest things we’ve been enjoying on our rambles around Farnham is the golden warm tones of the sun on the grass and trees, complemented by the cool tones of the lowering sky and clouds.
