Saturday morning I happened to notice early Spring morning light streaming in on an eclectic collection of items on the dining table. Hence the still life images that make up the next several posts.
I shot this with the Fujinon 60mm f2.4 macro. Even though I wasn’t particularly aiming for it, that’s some very smooth bokeh.

I have heard that with the strange dislocations of Covid-19 more varied birds have been returning to the city. Several weeks ago I caught a bright red cardinal on a walk in Riverside Park and then last week this bluejay.
