Another walk along the North Downs Way. There’s always something new to see and we’ve never gone more than about 5 – 10 miles along its 153-mile course, all the way to Dover.


Next we wandered up to the Heugh, a rocky ledge that may hold the foundations of the earliest church on the site (7th century). The panorama below is a gigantic file, stitched together from 14 separate shots. If you enlarge it you can see incredible detail throughout.





At the summit of Arthur’s Seat I shot an in camera panoramic jpeg. Impossible not to include some of the hordes of tourists who had preceded us up the hill, laying waste to the grasses and other flora along the way. Tremendous views, though.
