
From the same walk in Farnham Park a couple of weeks ago as the last post, a couple of portraits of trees resplendent in their Autumn finery.


This scene looked like it might have potential for the series Urban Tree Portrait but I couldn’t get the right distance and angle for the image I wanted.

In the last post, I discussed liminal spaces, a subject that we have been discussing in my Photography MFA class. Imagine my delight in finding the Limin restaurant! Sticking with the catalogue of photos from Septembers in the past, this one from 2009 would have been a fitting candidate for my series on Looking Down.

We next descended the Dean Bank to the Water of Leith, with the trees above it beautifully reflected in the water, tempting me to take too many similar pictures.
