When Amy doesn’t feel well…
A lovely wall, of many ages of brick and tile, in late afternoon, wintry sun.
And we’re back… if briefly perhaps.
I’m not sure this really fits with the haiku theme. Certainly there’s a sense of the season, and emptiness, but not really anything interesting enough. What was I thinking?
Outside the castle you can see Farnham Park stretching into the distance. It’s approximately half the size of Central Park in NYC, delightedly less crowded and with much more varied natural landscapes instead of Central Park’s many entertainments. Easy not to trespass when the steps are missing…
Imprisoning the Past
In late November, 2003, a friend gave us lunch at his restaurant and walked us around Red Hook, Brooklyn. Still new to shooting jpegs, straight out of the camera with the 5 MP Dimage A-1, I took these (an many other unworthy ones) as we walked through the neighborhood. Click any one of them, to see them all enlarged.
Sticking with the archives, still, here’s a 2MP jpeg from September, 2003.
