Walking home on a wintery afternoon we came to West Pier in a dusky light and stopped to see the starlings gather for their daily murmuration.



I took an ICP course in the Spring with Harvey Stein on photo books and administrative help was provided by Parsons Photography MFA student Agnes An, whose grad show at Parsons I attended last month, where I saw the above.

We have hardly ever seen waves of any size here. On this day, at the end of May, the wind was whipping them up.
