We arrived in Plymouth and before even leaving the car park I tried one more time to rephotograph my text images on location. Still not doing anything for me. If viewing in email, click the post title to click into the images and see them larger.
Then, when we left the car park, we realised we were not in the most salubrious part of town.
Our first stop after leaving Galway town was a roadside stop to capture the Screebe Falls, but there were some other things of interest there as well. Click any image to see them all enlarged (in your browser).
This public school building, housing several programs, has been under renovation for years and years, with crews working nights and weekends (you can actually make out 1 or 2 workers on upper floors on the right side of this picture). I once asked a passing worker what was taking so long and he told me that the initial contractor had done the job wrong and so now they were re-doing it. I asked how much longer it would take and he thought with good luck they could be done in another couple of years.
I’ve spent the day struggling with my laptop which is crawling along. Here’s the first image I managed to eke out of it.
