We New Yorkers aren’t often accustomed to the simple beauty of the afternoon sun shining in through a bathroom window curtain and reflecting off the side wall. I tried to capture the wonderful feeling of that afternoon glow.

A couple of boring pictures, I guess. I was attracted by the way the wood had been painted the same color as the gravel and the metal cladding had been painted to match the color of the wooden telephone pole. I imagined a series of such pairings but stopped after I saw these two in rapid succession.
