This year I finally made it to Rencontre d’Arles, the photographers’ equivalent of the Cannes Film Festival, as some have called it. Unfortunately I was staying at a super-budget hotel on the outskirts of town, about a half hour walk (or 20 minute bus ride) from where the festival was occurring – hence the view. More to come from opening week in Arles.

Farnham to Paris

We got home from Edinburgh on a Friday evening. Monday morning we set off for London and then on to Paris for a few days, where 25-years earlier we had celebrated our honeymoon.

Architecture

The Marriott Marquis in Atlanta is stunningly architected with a number of different and interesting views. I’m not certain it’s beautiful, but it is certainly interesting and offers numerous perspectives.
